Take a look and see what’s it’s all about. If you know someone who’s sick and would appreciate some live music OR if you’re a musician and want to get involved, reach out!

The things you do for love…

I love music. I love that I can make a living making music.

But with love comes compromise. Honestly, I think that’s what keeps us balanced. Love is give and take.

Over the years, I’ve done a lot of different music jobs that I didn’t love…

late nights playing to screaming drunks, bridezilla melt-downs, kids that won’t practice their instruments…

But, I learned from all of those experiences.

Now I’d like to share a quick video of one of my latest music jobs. Sure, it’s not my finest hour, but it sure was fun!

If anything, have a good laugh at the hilarious and obscene youtube comments 😉

Guitar Center Songwriter Contest 4

Thanks to the people who backed my last fundraising campaign, I’ve been writing and producing new songs every month.  It’s given me the motivation, accountability and the funds to be able to deliver new fully produced songs each month. But these songs have been exclusively for my campaign backers.

So I decided to take my favorite new song and record a youtube style version of me performing it solo acoustic. The song is called “Taking My Turn” and it’s about just that… taking action.

I’m really happy with the way the video turned out so I decided to enter it in the Guitar Center Singer Songwriter Contest this year. The grand prize in an EP with Grammy winning producer Don Was and a performance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show!

RIP Clarence Clemons

“A change was made uptown when the Big Man joined to band”

Over the weekend, “The Big Man” Clarence Clemons passed away. Originally this performance was a salute to the Boss. Today it seems more of a tribute to Clarence.
